In Tribute to Alan Rickman: A Harry Potter Saga.

Recently, we were delighted to host a Family A.M. David Bowie tribute screening of the iconic, Labryinth. These £3 family friendly shows were greeted with great enthusiasm and we were overjoyed to see our screens brimming with many generations of Bowie lovers.

Unfortunately, in the same week, we learned of Alan Rickman’s passing which left us eager to pay tribute to another great career that spanned over forty years on screen and stage. The Sheriff of Nottingham graced us with many characters over the years, from German super-villain, Hans Gruber in Die Hard, the voice of god, Metatron in Dogma and the love-rat, Harry in Love Actually.

However, it was his role as Potions Master of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry that placed Alan Rickman firmly in our hearts. Join us as we chronicle the entire Harry Potter saga over the next eight weeks and witness Professor Snape’s extraordinary journey.

We begin on January 30th & 31st with a screening of the first instalment, The Philosophers Stone from 10.30am at just £3 per ticket. This will be followed by The Chamber of Secrets the weekend of February 6th and 7th and the rest of the franchise playing out each weekend until The Deathly Hollows: Part 2 on March 19th and 20th.
