Posted 15 December 2015

  • SISTERS

The awesome Tina Fey and Amy Poehler team up again for their new

comedy, Sisters. The dynamic duo produce the film alongside Pitch Perfect director

Jason Moore with the script penned by SNL and 30 Rock writer, Paula Pell. Fey and

Poehler began as Second City improve cast members and went on to star in SNL, a

show world famous for producing Hollywood mega-stars. Since then they have gone

on to write, produce and star in feature films and hit TV shows.

Their latest story follows two disconnected sisters summoned home to clean out

their childhood bedroom before their parents sell the family house. Looking to

recapture their glory days, they throw one final high-school-style party for their

classmates, which turns into an explosive one last hurrah that a bunch of ground-

down adults really need.

  • STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS

Well it’s the moment many of us have been waiting for, Star Wars is back, and it is

bringing along all of the characters that we’ve been begging for!

Audiences have been getting teased for months with some of the most refreshing

trailers to hit our screens in a very long time. Whilst displaying some legendary Star

Wars mythology and iconography the trailers offer us zero hints as to the plot,

resulting in full Star Wars hysteria!

The newly acquired Disney franchise is helmed by J.J. Abrams and welcomes back

the majority of the old guard with fan theories and rumours running wild

questioning if Luke is either channelling some serious Obi-Wan or Dark Side vibes?

But at least we know for sure that Han Solo is bringing those scruffy-looking nerf-

herder vibes back!

In addition to welcoming back Hamill, Fisher and Ford we welcome on board Billie

Lourd, Domhnall Gleeson and John Boyega in addition to the outstanding

Gwendoline Christie, Oscar Isaac and Adam Driver. So it’s over to you Mr. Abrams

and may the force be with you.

The Force Awakens opens December 17 – With The Light offering special midnight
