BAFTA Winners

La La Land came out on top at last night’s glittering BAFTAs, securing five awards including Best Film, Leading Actress and Best Director.

Casey Affleck was awarded Leading Actor for his role in Manchester by the Sea, which also received the award for Best Original Screenplay.

Dev Patel won Best Supporting Actor for his role as an adopted man trying to trace his family in Lion. Lion also won the Best Adapted Screenplay award.

Viola Davis received the Best Supporting Actress award for her role in Fences, starring alongside Denzel Washington.
